Renault: operating the immersive rooms

Scale-1 Portal has been selected to operate the immersive rooms at the Renault Technocentre in Guyancourt.

Renault's engineering centre houses several CAVE-type immersive rooms — Cave Automatic Virtual Environment. The largest system displays 4096 × 4096 pixels on each of its five faces. It is a state-of-the-art installation, which projects project teams inside the brand's future vehicles.

We handle the day-to-day operation of these systems, which includes integrating software against the use cases of the different engineering teams. Scale-1 Portal also develops the specific software tools involved in running the rooms.
